Stallion Feature Rocky Lee (written for the english website of Johann Hinnemann and the Krüsterhof stallions)

Refined sportive Excellence!

Last October, Rocky Lee indeed "rocked" the Hannoverian auction place in Verden, when his 2 year old son "Revolution" sold for a record price of 1,2 Million Euros and became the most expensive horse ever sold in Verden! Ever since, Rocky Lee is one of the most bespoken stallions.

At the same time, Rocky Lee celebrated yet another breeding highlight:
He scored amongst the Top Ten german breeding stallions showing a dressage breeding index of 151 points at his first breeding index valuation ever! This score is evenmoreso remarkable as Rocky Lee didn't breed a large number of mares in his first breeding years. Yet, his eldest 3 and 4 year old crop under saddle proved to be convincing in Mare Performance Tests and young horse dressage classes in 2015, providing necessary grounds for the sire's remarkable top ten breeding index.

One year before, the Westfalian Elite Mare Show 2014 marked Rocky Lee's first exquisite breeding highlight. His daughter Rihanna became Champion of the Westfalian Elite Mare Show. Rihanna ranked premium amongst a fine selection of the 100 best 3 year old mares in Westfalia. A couple of weeks later she also proved her quality under saddle when she won her first 3-year-old dressage horse class.

Rocky Lee is an expectional stallion in every respect, breeding and sport. The charming black mount is of outspoken ridability and work ethic, super sensitive and yet eager to work. He went from winning Youngster Classes to Prix St.Georges in less than two years.
His truly multitalented pedigree stands out amongst today's dressage breeding sires for two reasons:
Rocky Lee runs a high percentage of refining thouroughbred blood (50 % according to Horse Telex), while his bloodlines mainly consist of proven dual purpose jumper genetics.
Thus, beside his own career as a dressage stallion, Rocky Lee is the most suitable prospect for all three disciplines of sport horse breeding, dressage, jumping and eventing!

Because of the high percentage of thouroughbred blood Rocky Lee also serves as a refinery stallion.
The 50 percent thouroughbred blood portion is mainly owed to his damline. Rocky Lee's mother is a half thouroughbred mare by Justinian xx, who already descends from a damline of a lot of refinery blood added by the thouroughbred stallion Usurpator xx.
As such, Rocky Lee provides for a well consolidated thouroughbred portion over many generations, the most favourable way to add refinery to warmblood breeding:
High consolidation reduces the risk of spreading extremes!

Rocky Lee was Premium Stallion at the Westfalian Licensing 2009. He was multiple winner of young dressage horse classes age 3, 4 and 5 and finalist at the Warendorf Bundeschampionships.
When Rocky Lee moved to Johann Hinnemann age six he became Westfalian Champion immediately, winning at M-level under the saddle of Steffi Wolf. Age seven, he won his first S-class and scored high at Prix St.Georges. Trained by Johann Hinnemann, Rocky Lee and Steffi are on their way to Grand Prix.

Rocky Lee's sire Rock Forever NRW already reached the status of a stamp stallion. He provides for licensed sons year by year, amongst them licensing winners and premium stallions in Westfalia and Oldenburg.
However, his most prominent daughter lives in the USA!
Steffen Peter's Rosamunde by Rock Forever x Fidermark turned the dressage world upside down when she made her Grand-Prix-Debut in Capistrano/CA scoring nearly 80 percent age eight!

Rock Forever's sire Rockwell is an evenly multitalented stallion of unique self performance. He shows wins in jumping and dressage, both at S-Level. Rock Forever's damline descends from purest jumper genetics. His damsire Landstreicher was an international show jumper under Toni Hassmann.

His sire and grandsires explain the dual purpose genetics making up for Rocky Lee. In 2010 Rocky Lee proved his jumper talent at the Stallion Performance Test when he gained an all-in-all jumping score of 8,11 competing against specialized jumper stallions.

Rocky Lee's dam holds a respectful breeding record with another four siblings sucessfully registered in sport. They prove the damline's multitalent by wins and placings in both, jumping and dressage. Next to Rocky Lee, her son Cardento is the second sibling already competing sucessfully in S-class. Jumping, that is. Truly multitalented damline.

Via Renaldo and Remus the blood of famous foundation stallion Ramzes is contained twice in Rocky Lee's damline.
In combination with his sire Rock Forever Rocky Lee is inbred to Ramzes yet another time. We consider this a welcome inbreed component of proven Ramzesblood.

Rocky Lee - an expectional stallion in every respect, breeding and sport!
